Full View for my Undying Love

The girl's name is Whilhelm and her furry Minotaur friend is named Joe. Whilhelm and Joe met when they were quite young. Both were stumbling despondently through the greenish soupy muck of the eastern everglades, trying desperately to find their way back to the top of Mt. Ge Nacht. It was love at first sight, but not in the common literal terms. Whilhelm was really terribly blind and Joe, well for a Minotaur he really didn't have 20/20 vision. They happened to hear each other from across the way and, with relieved little laughs, felt their way into a rather wet embrace. Glad for the company and for something warm to hold onto, they decided to travel together.

Whilhelm, being sensible, knew after only a few days that Joe couldn't be human. Though he did carry on brilliant conversations about all sorts of poetry, his species had somewhat diverted a long time ago. But she made up her mind to love him anyway. The fur and horns were not that hard to get over anyway, when one had a heart as big as one's behemoth body.

Joe (having never being privy to seeing much of the world outside his swamp) only realized that Whilhelm was human when they came upon a pack of nomadic Minotaurs who told him so. They urged him to leave the young girl by a 'road' so that others of her kind might find her. But, by that time it was too late for Joe. Whilhelm had stolen his heart of course. No matter how the other Minotaurs tried to persuade him otherwise they couldn't be separated. What did a lack of fur mean when something so small could contain so much love?

Anyhow, So, this was a quickie project I decided to do to get back into the habit of doing more art on a regular basis. About 3 to 4 hours, give or take (with a lot of little breaks in between). I wasn't really counting. I just knew I wanted to do a project with a lot of fur, a lot of green, and a some red.

and I'm hoping I did that.
