I had a lot of fun working on this one. In fact I may do more pieces with GOLD! I like the shiny. The hair was also a bunch of fun to dream up.

this is a piece for my AP portfolio, so hope you like. any comments about it's quality?

also, those are real flowers on there, just in case you were wondering. glueing those things down was kind of a NIGHTMARE! haha (it wasn't so bad)

I love how shiny her hair looks, the color reminds me of a raven, and the colors on the skin by her eyes really make them pop.

I think you may want to also mention hun that the flowers are real dried flowers! just so people can see how cool you are using real plants! > 3 <

This is gorgeous; I absolutely love your colour choices. I think that this is a perfect portfolio piece. I really like the raised texture of the flowers as well.

haha! well I guess that slipped my mind, I thought it was kind of obvious that they were real flowers. But I should stop assuming. I'm such a geek about stuff like that :P

wow, thanks so much! I'm relieved that you think it's good enough for a portfolio piece, the deadline is almost here :wow: I'm so worried! haha yeah those dried flowers, they're pretty but I don't know if more glue got on the canvas or my fingers :giggle:
